  • South Street is based out of Hamilton, and we happily serve the greater Hamilton area. Including:  Ancaster, Burlington, Oakville, Cambridge, Grimsby, and more. If you’re unsure if we service your area, reach out and ask! 

  • Every project is unique and can include any combination of walls, trim, ceilings, doors and more. We have our own pricing model that we follow to ensure estimates are consistent and dependable. Our estimates are completely free of charge and can be tailored to your specific space and ideas. Request an estimate here.

  • If you decide to make any changes or additions once work has begun, we are happy to accommodate! We will confirm a price for any changes/additions and send you an updated estimate. Once you have approved the estimate, we are able to move forward with our new plan.

  • Every project is different, and the timeline can vary widely depending on the size and intricacy of the space. For simple projects like a few small rooms with minimal repair, it can take anywhere from 1-4 days.

    For larger projects like full house repaints, it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Once we've visited your space in person, we’ll have a better idea of a timeline for your project.

  • Once we receive your request, we try to schedule an in-person viewing as soon as possible. Once the site visit is complete, you can expect an estimate in 1-2 days.

  • You are welcome to stay in your space while we work. We use quality, low-odor paint to ensure the least disruption to your schedule. However, if you prefer not to be home or cannot be home, we can work with that too.

  • During our on-site visit we will assess the condition of your walls and determine the best course of repair. We are well equipped to repair minor to moderate damage, and for more severe cases, we will bring in our drywall expert to assess.

  • All South Street crew members are fully registered and insured.

  • Yes. We require a 30% deposit before beginning work. If you decide to cancel or postpone your project prior to the beginning of work, your deposit will be refunded.

  • We supply all the necessary materials for your project. We primarily use Shermin-Williams Quality paints. We can work with all specialty paints, including Farrow and Ball.  We can match colours to existing paints and wallpapers using Nix technology.

  • We proudly stand behind the quality of our work. South Street Painting offers a warranty covering defects resulting from improper preparation or application of paint. This warranty includes touchups that occur as a direct result of our workmanship under normal conditions.

    The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, moisture intrusion, structural movement or damage caused by homeowners, tenants, pets, cleaners, movers, or other contractors after the project has been completed. Touch-ups required due to damage, changes, or wear occurring after project completion are not included but may be provided at an additional cost.
